Artist's Comments
This is an old piece from 2004 or 2003, I believe. It was a birthday present for my sister. It's a piece of fiction, a "scrapbook" made by a fictional artist within a made-up world we'd created as girls, writing and drawing a whole plethora of characters and histories and spoof-newspapers.
I used all kinds of media in a Moleskin leporello sketchbook. After finishing the book, I added an extra dimension to the story by adding a letter from an old lawyer, written one or two generations later than the time of the narrative in the book. © C.A.Hiley 2009 |
